Constance Cervone and Janet Deegan
Constance and Janet have lived and worked selling real estate in Boston and Jamaica Plain for nearly 30 years.

We fell in love with this diverse urban village and have committed our personal and professional lives to the community and its environs. Though it is set in the heart of Boston’s greenest neighborhood, its proximity to the city offers a spectrum of resources and the appeal of a major metropolitan area. It is a virtual oasis giving all of us who live here a quality of life rare in most cities.

Equally, we value the diversity that is reflected in the people — a mix of backgrounds, lifestyles, and cultures making Jamaica Plain traditional and progressive in ways perhaps unlike any other community. We love the strong sense of kinship felt by the individuals who are our neighbors, clients and friends. We own a home together on Moss Hill where we live with our 9-year old daughter and our angora kitty, and have recently begun to keep bees. We all revel in the myriad of natural resources and the rich community we share here with our neighbors and friends.

Cervone Deegan & Associates is committed to the highest quality of life in Jamaica Plain and is active in neighborhood art and civic associations. Constance participated in the first initiatives to begin recycling in Jamaica Plain over 20 years ago, served in leadership roles on the Board of the Jamaica Plain Arts Council for over a decade and is still active in the arts and neighborhood initiatives that contribute to community life here. Janet is a member of the Jamaica Plain Historical Society, which serves to keep vibrant the notable history in our community. Some of our mutual memberships include Friends of the Arnold Arboretum, the Franklin Park Coalition and the Jamaica Hills Association.

We have found a shared connection of work and community enriches our lives and mirrors our collaborative approach with clients and colleagues. Home and work are integrated in our lives in a way that living elsewhere could not offer us. Our love of architecture and nature has found full expression in our living and working in Jamaica Plain. We are grateful that we can draw from such a treasure trove to contribute to our lives and our business. For us it is deeply meaningful to play a pivotal role in helping people find their way home in such a vital and extraordinary setting.

Tristan Rushton
Tristan prides himself on his attention to detail and customer service skills. Since joining Cervone Deegan & Associates at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, he has gained an intimate understanding of the nuances of buying and selling real estate in the Boston area.

Through his intense training as a member of the most experienced and successful real estate team in Jamaica Plain, his knowledge base of working with clients and negotiating successful transactions gives him a depth of knowledge and skill privy to only a handful of agents in the country. Tristan is the team’s premier Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) and guides the majority of Cervone Deegan & Associates buyer clients to successful purchases. His patience combined with his thorough knowledge and understanding of the local inventory, market conditions, customs and expectations result in the ultimate outcome for the team’s clients; the successful purchase or sale of a home with the best price, terms and conditions the market will bear. He is delighted to be a member of a team and company that mirror his standards of excellence.

With his eye to the future Tristan is also responsible for maintaining Cervone Deegan & Associates technological edge. Recent upgrades to website and showing reports are providing the team and its clients detailed information about viewing traffic, both on- and off-line on which to base strategic decisions. He also introduced an on-line transaction management program and supervised the creation of it before most brokers and buyers had even heard the term, contributing substantially to the well-oiled machinery of the Cervone Deegan & Associates cutting-edge marketing and superior service.

His interest in real estate is rooted in a life of watching and participating in his family’s purchase, improvement and sale of homes in the Northeast, South and Western United States. Since relocating from Maine to experience the diversity and cultural experiences the Greater Boston area has to offer, he has purchased a condominium in Roslindale, a place he is thrilled to call home along with his partner, Matt. It has given him first-hand experience with the buying process and it is affording him the benefits of easy access to Roslindale Village, the Arboretum and Jamaica Plain. A highly motivated and thoughtful person, Tristan enjoys his family, traveling, biking and skiing, spending leisure time in Boston, Maine and on Cape Cod.
